The Maltese are a wonderful toy breed dog, and are among the gentlest of all small dog breeds. Maltese are very playful, lively, and vigorous; they love the companionship of their owner, and are eager for attention.


Maltese are a good choice for those who desire a small dog and have lots of attention to spare and can be particularly suitable for older owners.

This is Isiah. He is our only male house dog. He was born on 6-9-02. He is tiny. He weighs about 4 lbs. He is definitly my mother's dog. He follows her everywhere. Maltese are pretty much a one person dog.

This is Sugar. She was born on 8-21-02.She weighs about 6 lbs. She is an AKC breeder. Sugar is excellent with us but she is shy when it comes to people she doesn't know.
