The Shiba Inu belongs to the non-sporting group, although the origin of the breed is as a Japanese hunting dog.


Shiba Inus are intelligent and independent dogs with lots of energy and they thrive where they have lots of outside space to run and explore. Shiba Inus are loyal affectionate pets.

This is Powder. Powder weighs about 23 lbs. She was born on 10-4-01. She is our house dog. Powder is always sleeping in my parents bed or laying on the picnic table. She is a big chicken. I think Powder is the prettiest dog we own.

This is Pudge. She was born on 1-22-02. Pudge weighs about 21 lbs. She is standing on the picnic table. She loves being out doors and running around. She is an ACA breeder.

This is Pebbles. She is Pudge's sister. Pebbles was also born on 1-22-02. She weighs about 20 lbs. The Shiba's love being outdoors and enjoy the wilderness!

This is Boots. He is our male breeder. He is the only male Shibe breeder we own. He is black and tan. Boots weighs about 25 lbs and was born on 11-15-01. He is very outgoing and will go to anyone who will let him.
